Welcome to the Polehill Carp Fishery website

The fishery is located outside Loughries, 4 miles from Newtownards and 5 miles from Bangor.

It is stocked with mostly carp and some tench.

To get booked in you will need to visit one of our shops: Belfast Angling Centre or Mckee's Angling Centre.

Rules:

• POLEHILL CARP FISHERY IS STRICTLY CATCH AND RELEASE!

• Anglers with paid permits only allowed on fishery, no spectators

• No entry to fishery before 9am. No exceptions

• Exit from fishery no later than 15 min after dusk

• No chemical or starlights

• Plastic slamo style disgorgers only

• Soft match and feeder rods only, fishing with 1 rod only per angler, no carp, or spin rods in the fishery

• Unhooking mats must be used, 1 per angler

• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

• No fixed feeders, free running rigs only

• Hooks must be barbless and no bigger than #10

• Landing Nets must be fish friendly and capable of landing 10lb+ carp, 1 per angler, no keepnets allowed

• Fishmeal based groundbaits only, no crumb

• No Dogs/Radios/Alcohol, keep strictly to paths, respect the wildlife and use the bins provided

• CCTV IN OPERATION AT ALL TIMES

• No moving from your designated peg

Adults

• Full Day: 9am-8pm (or dark): £20 each

• Half Day: 9am-2pm: £12 each

• Half Day: 2pm-8pm (or dark): £12 each
